The development of the digital camcorder has enabled us to record numerous events, especially when away on holiday and also for other special occasions such as weddings and family visits. Our dogs are excellent subjects, of course and even the odd session of music making can be worth recording. When this web site was created, the expected audience was primarily family and friends. However, as more was learned about using softwares such as Adobe PremierPro for capturing, editing and exporting the video clips and Macromedia Dreamweaver for building the web site, it became clear that much time would be required for this amateur. Finding ways to improve the quality of the ultimate video file has been particularly time consuming - and there is still more to be learned!.
It also followed that it was possibly a more specialised computer hobby and there could be a relatively small group of similar enthusiasts. If this were the case, it may be that we would find interest in the structure and content of each other's web sites.
