Our tour guide met us all at the Reyjavik airport in a howling wind with heavy rain. He escorted us onto his mini-van, which was to become our regular mode of transport. We then bypassed Reyjavik and travelled, with occasional stops, through open country to our hotel in Grundarfjordur. |
