Our main event of the day was going to be hosting by a Dutch couple this evening where I would join them in playing the Schubert double cello quintet. During the previous email exchanges Eveline had recommended as a must do, a tour of the canals. So, that was our first outing of the holiday. There was a lot of canal traffic and the canal boat controls allowed very precise navigation. This was of more interest than the views!
