We visited Hancock, the breeder, when the litter, born on 2 August, was 4 weeks old (Soda and Meg were Hancock dogs). We had said we wanted a bitch and these two were available. Their coats are called 'red merle' and 'brindle'. A difficult choice to make, but we were allowed to delay the choice until the final selection day when they would be 8 weeks old.
