On the previous day our Scottish friends Frank and Jo had collected us from near our hotel and driven us to their home. On the way there we hadstopped to take our first look at the Forth Bridge - unaware that we would soon be sailing past it.
We had decided to abandon Edinburgh and sail whatever the weather, so we were prepared for it. I think that aeroplane landed safely!
